Erectile Dysfunction common causes

Erectile dysfunction can occur due to many causes physical or psychological or both. Frequently ED is caused by a health condition. Rarely ED is caused by psychological or emotional problem. Very often unhealthy lifestyle is the cause of ED in men. Practically in all cases the normal blood flow to the penis is impaired to the penis and this leads to erectile dysfunction. Many health conditions including diabetes, high cholesterol, hypertension, spinal cord injury and hardening of the arteries can affect blood flow in the body. Depression is also an often cause of ED. ED may be caused by medications. Some medications that men take for conditions like hypertension, heart disease, depression and hair loss can lead to ED. Lifestyle factors play a significant role in our general health, smoking, for instance, can damage blood vessels and thus lead to hardening of the arteries. The blood flow to the penis becomes impaired and a man develops ED.
